We did make it to the coast on Christmas day. Well...Kelly and the two boys made it to the coast. Kelly's dad came and picked them up on Christmas, with his studded tire, four-wheel drive vehicle. She and the boys stayed in with her family through Sunday afternoon. Jared went with his family down to California to celebrate his brother's wedding. It was not exactly the way we planned to spend Christmas, separated as a family and headed in different directions, but it was the best way to make use of the time we had left here in Oregon. Kelly, Josiah and Jacob had a great time. They spent time with Kelly's four brothers and sister, mom and dad, and Josiah's three great grandparents. Josiah also has one cousin on that side and one on the way. It was great fun to just "hang-out" with everyone. Josiah spent lots of time running through the house, chasing after his cousin, attacking his uncles, and requesting "Grandpot" to play with him. It was great for Kelly to have so many babysitters and playmates for Jacob and Josiah, and also have time to go shopping and to coffee with her sister Rose and take care of some stuff before heading overseas. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Christmas morning in Warrenton. This is only a mile from the beach! Two of Kelly's brothers are out taking advantage of a white Christmas.

Josiah and his cousin Danielle are helping Jacob open a Christmas present.

Jacob with his aunt Rose. She has become an excellent diaper changer! I was sure to give her lots of practice :)

Tinkerbell and Superman getting some exercise.

Josiah with his Great Granddad.

Josiah and uncle Ronnie enjoying another great meal at Grandma Dugan's house. We have enjoyed so many family meals and memories around that kitchen table!
There were lots of goodbyes to say in Warrenton. We sure are going to miss all those family get-togethers and the time spent visiting and laughing together.
We have three more days before we board our plane. Three days packed with packing :)
