It is time, we are preparing to head back to Asia. It looks like we will be boarding a plane on January 1st or 2nd. With this in mind we have begun to say our goodbye's. We spent Thanksgiving with Jared's family, knowing that it will be a while before we see many of them again. Josiah has found new buds in his cousins Joshua and Caleb, and Emma and Jacob are regularly talking about their cousin Micah. We are going to miss all those boys!
My sister and her husband, Riley, also came down for a few days. Jared and Riley were able to meet, for the first time, and we had a chance to spend time together with most of my extended family.
(The above picture is with my sister's camera, incredible huh? I think Jacob even took the picture. Much better quality than our "point and shoot":) )
The goodbye's are hard, however worth it when we get to be together, even if for a short time. Now, as we head back to Asia, my kids have faces to go with all of these names. We also have many, many memories to take with us. Now to see on how much of the material stuff I can cram into our few suitcases.
