Helmet Mountain

A few weeks ago we climbed the mountain near our home. It was a clear, crisp, fall morning, great day for a view and we were well aware that soon the cold weather would make trips like this nearly impossible.
Emma was in the Ergo, Jacob in the backpack, and Josiah walked (or more accurately ran). The majority of the hike is dirt trails through the trees, until you reach the top. Then hands are needed to climb up the rocks. The air that morning felt clean and it was refreshing to enjoy some family time, outdoors.
