Jacob is Five!

Jacob turned five on Wednesday.  We celebrated with family, friends, fish, and a monkey party.

 Jacob with his birthday present...the first pet (other than insects from outside) that our family has attempted to keep alive.  He has been excellent at remembering to feed them every day, when he gets home from school.

Jacob also took monkey cupcakes to school to share with his class.

Jacob has been asking regularly when he is going to start doing homeschool and when his teeth are going to start falling out.  He is expecting both to happen any day now, since he is now five years old.  Oh, I love this guy!
