The world around us is beginning to transform. Just this week, all the hills I look at everyday out our kitchen window suddenly became green. What a difference it makes. The trees in our apartment complex are blooming with flowers and leaves. They have also added flowers, water to the streams, and lots of goldfish. Josiah absolutely loves dropping stones in the water to see if he can hit a fish. (I am still trying to figure out what the boundaries actually are when it comes to this activity.) A friend also gave us a bike to borrow for a few weeks. Josiah has become a pro and is exploring new territory on this new bicycle. We have been spending lots of time out in the areas between buildings in our complex, Josiah riding, me walking. Sometimes Jacob goes out with us in his stroller or the front carrier. Yesterday we even stuck the bike in a taxi, went to a coffee shop by the river front, got coffee to go and went for a walk. We felt like we were back in the states, even if we did stick out even more with our two blond boys and then holding cups of coffee :). It was just fun! Along with the weather changing our lives have been very busy. It seems that along with us getting out of the house, everyone else is too. We have had lots of opportunities to get to know people in our neighborhood and elsewhere.
(I have some pictures to post but cannot seem to get them uploaded. I'll try again at a later date.)
