Playing Outside

Yesterday I finally got outside with both boys and the camera.
Our outside time began with me hanging up the laundry just outside our back door. The boys found a hose and discovered that when they picked it up water came out. Notice the banana trees in the background.

Next we got a bucket of water and Josiah had a syringe from our morning doctor appointments. We took it all to the front of the house where they discovered how much fun it could be to just play with a bucket of water. Usually the play involved Josiah putting rocks and stuff in the bucket and Jacob taking them out.

Here is Jacob, a little wet but very content.

Finally we made our way over to the tire swing where the boys took turns swinging.

Soon it was time to head in for dinner. Jared had made spaghetti. We are looking forward to more play time outside, little bits here and there between naps, meals, and running errands. It sure is wonderful having two small boys and a yard!!
