Strawberry Day

Right now strawberries are 50 cents a pound. Over the past two days we bought 10 pounds (they had all been freshly picked that morning), made one batch of strawberry jam, and bagged and froze the rest. This year Josiah even got in on the process. He smashed ALL of the strawberries for jam. Not only was he proud to help in the kitchen, he really was a help. Now to find room in my freezer, among all the strawberries, for the day to day stuff :)
