Earlier this week we had some warmer days (it reached 25 degrees Fahrenheit!). We took advantage of the warmer weather and got out of the house, all of us! Near our house there is a sort of water reservoir that freezes over in the winter. There is an area reserved for ice skating and other areas for other kinds of ice activities. We chose to rent some chairs and poles and push ourselves around the ice. It was surprisingly fun. Jared and I had a great time, and of course the kids loved it. Emma was the only one not completely satisfied. Not surprising considering she was woken early from her nap and then stuck in her snowsuit for an hour and a half. We were a bit chilled in the end, but quickly defrosted once we were back in our warm home drinking hot chocolate. Enjoy pictures from our new found winter activity.
