Snow Day

The kids had a few days off from local school for New Year and, because of how it works here, they were supposed to go to school on the Saturday before New Year (to make up for one of the days off).  That morning kids got up, we were eating breakfast, and it started snowing.  It was beautiful. (It is cold here, temperature has not been above freezing in over a month, but seldom snows).  Then, my tutor called and canceled our tutor session for the morning.  I could not resist, I kept kids home from school, Jared put off his stuff until the afternoon and we took a 'snow day'!  Here are pictures from our time playing outside.

We came back in and threw the kids in the bathtub.  Too bad someone let all the hot water out, while kids were getting soaped up, and all three had to be de-soaped using the cold shower :(.  All the more reason to warm up again, after baths, with hot chocolate!  Fun morning!
