Yesterday Jacob got to go to the doctor. It seems all of us have had ample opportunities to be picked at and prodded. It was finally Jacob's turn. He did great, considering he got four shots and an oral vaccine. It was also great for mom and dad to see how he is growing, pretty much average except for his tiny head. He also took a great nap in the evening, after his appointment.
We have been here on the East coast for about 5 weeks now, and have hardly explored at all. Yesterday we borrowed a car and went into town for Jacob's appointment. After the doctor visit we headed out to eat at our favorite family place, Chick-fil-A. They even had an indoor play area! Then we headed to Walmart and did some shopping. Basically we stocked up on diapers for our next few weeks. We also bought Jacob a toy, something I didn't think to bring. He is very much into chewing on anything he can get in his mouth and I thought a toy might be better than my fingers, a pen, or Josiah's shoes. He sure is growing up, even during out short time here.
Speaking of Jacob, he is currently calling for me.
