Immunizations, Yuck!

Today Josiah had to get some vaccinations. It has been a long time since he has had any shots of any kind and no memory of ever being hurt by a doctor. We tried to get him ready for it, told him he was going to get medicine owies. It worked pretty well until we were at the office. Jared went in with him and out in the waiting room (with lots of other people) I could hear lots of crying, and "owieeeeee" for almost the entire time he was in there. The funny thing though, is he came out with tears in his eyes and a smile on his face asking if he could go to the gym and play basketball. Now, that is Josiah. He gets a bunch of shots and the first thing on his mind is, When can I play ball again? Of course we went straight to the gym to play. We'll see how things go when he goes in for his next round in a couple weeks.
