Happy Father's Day Jared

Today was Father's Day and we (Josiah, Jacob, and I) spent time showing Daddy how much we care for him. The boys started out by getting up at 5:45am. I guess that was not being that respectful of it being a special day for dad, but it did get better. We had french toast for breakfast, Jared's favorite. The boys gave him cards they had made. We spent time with friends this morning and for lunch, then came home and took naps. This evening we went to dinner at Pizza Hut (a new restaurant in our city) and had smoothies and Pizza. They even gave Jared a father's day gift there. We are not quite sure how they new it was Father's Day in the states, no one else here seems to be aware of it, but it was a pleasant surprise. After that we went for a walk through the outdoor markets, rather quickly because it was packed and we were quite a popular item with our two blond boys. Jared is a great dad and the boys absolutely adore him. Last night at dinner he commented on how crazy it is to have two sets of eyes on him at all times. That is about right. Whenever Jared is home they are following him around, anytime he sits down they are climbing all over him, and Josiah always is non stop talking to "daddy". (Not surprising that was Jacob's first word.) Even with our busy schedules and the many new stresses we face here, Jared always works things out so that he is home most every evening for dinner and some play time after. We all look so forward to this time. Here are some pictures from this morning, of the boys enjoying their daddy.
