Jacob Walks

This past week Jacob, who is now 17 months old, decided to stand up on his own two legs and walk. It was a very exciting event in our household. You cannot imagine how excited this pregnant mommy was! As the week has progressed, his walking has become more and more efficient. I think he is discovering the benefit of being able to carry things at the same time he is moving, something he often attempted while crawling. He also loves the reactions he gets from everyone in the house, clapping, praise, etc. Here is a video I took the first day he decided to really take off.
