My First Harvest

This spring my grandma gave me some seeds for a few different herbs. I decided to try my hand with planting them and see what I could get. This week, when we got back from our trip, I found I had some huge plants. Yeah!! Today I cut a few bunches of basil and some parsley. Now we get to enjoy basil in our salads and some excellent pasta dishes. (More recipes I now get to take off the shelf!) By the way, boy does that basil smell good. Even Josiah and Jacob were walking around with leaves, smelling them.
