Here we all are on their first night with us, out to eat at a hot pot restaurant.

Sandra celebrated her birthday the day before arriving in our city, so we just had to give her a bit of a party, complete with fireworks. (Notice the candle in the middle of the cake.)

They brought with them two enormous boxes of stuff, packed fully to the 50 pound weight allowance. Wow! Wow!! Wow!!! We all had birthday presents to open from Jared's parents, and Tim and Sandra plus just fun stuff galore. There were toys, baking mixes, clothes, beef jerky, magazines, spices, lots of books, etc. All those little things we find ourselves missing.
The thing at our house right now is transformers. I lost track of how many new transformers Josiah acquired during Tim and Sandra's visit. He now has a box on his shelf designated for all his decepticons and autobots, although usually the toys end up all over the house by the end of the day.

Jacob opening a new tub of animals. The giraffe in this set he carries around constantly and usually sleeps with it.

Our house after the excitement of discovering what those two huge boxes contained.

The kids had such a great time playing with Uncle Tim and Aunt Sandra. Just the everyday play around the house was a hundred times more excited with them around to read books, play with toys, and go outside.
Here is a morning at the park.

Playing outside our apartment, one evening after dinner.

Emma and Uncle Tim

Thanks so much Tim and Sandra for coming all this way! We had such a good time, wow was it hard to say goodbye. Your visit lives on in our minds, Josiah talks about you all daily.
