I am excited about how this recent quilt turned out. I really like the colors, it feels like summer time. It is probably one of the most simple quilts I have ever made and yet it took me at least two months to complete. I guess I have a lot of other priorities that come before sewing :). It is for a local friend who is expecting her first baby next month. In fact she is expecting to have a c-section on my birthday! This is the first time I have made a quilt for a local friend and my househelper assures me that it will be an appropriate gift. Looking forward to handing it over later this week.
