College Rules

Today Jared was at school and he went to a little store in one of the dormitories. The store has lots of snack stuff like pop, juice, chips (or the local version of this type of thing), candy, etc. Over on the side they had cases of what looked like beer. Jared asked the clerk about it, and soon found out that no it wasn't beer, it was a bunch of different kinds of hard liquor. What a surprise. This is in a college dormitory of 17 to 21 year olds. As you can probably guess, there is no drinking age here. We don't really ever hear of any problems with alcohol in the schools, although do know that it is very common in this culture. I often wonder what repercussions are caused, ones that are not easily visible.
