A Hot Dog and Light Sticks

So...two random photos, along with the story behind them.

During our travels Josiah saw on an advertisement somewhere, a picture of a hotdog. He got it into his mind that he wanted to try one. One evening we found a Burger King and thought, maybe hot dogs? Sadly not, however just outside the Burger King was a smoothie stand with hot dogs! Josiah got to try his first hot dog ever! He was super excited, and enjoyed it thoroughly.

We spent one morning at a science and technology museum. We went not knowing what to expect and found it super kid friendly. There was lots of hand-on stuff, in fact one whole area devoted to kids like Josiah and Jacob, where they could run around, explore, and touch absolutely everything. There were also rooms full of life size animals, insects, spiders, etc. Jacob has a thing for animals and was in awe as we walked next to giraffe, elephants, monkeys, etc. He even asked me to take a picture of him as he posed next to a dead spider. In one area they had a wall that was like a huge light bright set, with a light board and colored pegs you stick in and they light up. Jacob could have spent an hour in that room taking pegs out, moving them around and putting them back in. He quickly became oblivious to anything but the glowing sticks.
