Josiah

One day, while I was cleaning up from dinner, Josiah was playing with the train tracks. Later I discovered that this is what he created:

It is his name, created with train tracks. I was so surprised. This is my four year old who so quickly gets frustrated with trying to trace the number "1" on a piece of paper. He is not even close to being able to write a letter, except maybe an "o". Then he goes and writes his entire name, all by himself, using train tracks! Reminds me that I do not always need to use traditional methods when teaching my kids, especially as Josiah starts kindergarten this summer (with me as his teacher).
