Wedding

Last weekend we attended the wedding of my last tutor.  She has become a good friend and we were anxious to see her again.  The wedding mainly consisted of a meal, along with a presenter talking about the bride and groom and also a presentation by the parents.  The bride first appeared in a white dress and then changed into a red dress.  It was very similar to past weddings we have attended and I believe is typical for an Asian style celebration.  We are still trying to get used to all the customs, traditions, and way of celebrating.  The kids like the bright lights and bride's fancy dresses, and especially the candy sitting on the tables.  It was a treat to be invited and take part in our friend's special day.  The couple will be living in a city a little ways from us so we will not be seeing them regularly, but will be thinking of them often.

We took this last picture just as we were leaving, to head out into the rain.  Kids are holding red boxes full of candy.  The bride's parents also got in the picture.  Oh, and Judson is in the front carrier.
